Day Twenty-Six
On my first day in Canada, I had two questions for the locals.
1) What is poutine and is it worth trying?
2) What is a toque and am I pronouncing it right?
They told me to steer clear of poutine. But since then I've amassed an alarmingly large number of toques. Red ones, blue ones, green ones, ones with ears on them, ones with fluffy balls on top... So I now understand this little guy a bit better. He's got true Canadian style.

I hit the toque thing from the other direction; growing up in Vancouver and going skiing with my parents, I frequently wore toques, but I thought it was spelled "tuke" and had no idea what the word on this binome's hat was supposed to be until I saw some advertisement that referred to toques by name.
