The Grinch, a la Horton by EmpressHelenia The Grinch, a la Horton by EmpressHelenia
'"All I need is a reindeer..."
The Grinch looked around.
But since reindeer are scarce, there was none to be found.
Did that stop the old Grinch...?
No! The Grinch simply said,
"If I can't find a reindeer, I'll make one instead!"
So he called his dog Max. Then he took some black thread
And he tied a big horn on top of his head.'

:holly::holly::holly: Merry Christmas! :holly::holly::holly:

Aweee, I still watch this every Christmas!
Reading that title, makes me wonder what would happen if the Grinch would have used Horton as his Reindeer.
I think he'd have a harder time getting up that mountain lol!

Very nice image. I especilly love the texture. It works beautifly with the Dr. Suess style!

I absoluely LOVE this painting. I am assuming it is a painting. I am trying to find more like this from The Grinch. I could not tell the name of the artist. Can you tell me the name of the artist and if there were more paintings of the Grinch? This is my FAVORITE image of the Grinch too! Thank you for your help, Janelle

Helen, this looks amazing! THe rendering is very well done. I bought a DVD on head modeling for Maya if you'd like to borrow it.

LOL, it took me a year to realize what you meant. :O_o: This isn't 3D. All 2D. I didn't render a thing in this scene! :faint:

Lol! Rendering can also mean like, how you draw. SOrry if that was confusing. Like, rendering is the quality of your line/stroke.

I'd love to borrow it sometime! I can't model much more than a teacup right now, though. I need a ton more practice before tackling heads. :XD: But thanks!
